As we conclude our Lenten series Faith and Civic Life: From Ashes to Palms, we turn to the realities of our shared life today—where truth is often contested, communities are strained, and the call to justice can feel urgent. Throughout these weeks, we have explored how faith shapes our life together; tonight, we ask what it looks like to live that faith in practice. Isaiah calls us to a faith that repairs what is broken and serves those in need. Paul urges communities to speak truth and build one another up in love. Jesus weeps over a city that has lost its way, even as he acts to restore integrity and purpose. Grounded in God’s grace, we are sent into the world to embody lives of truth, compassion, and courage, seeking the well-being of all.
